ROMEO CASERIA has never attended an academic school to study or develop his God-given talents that would take many in this profession, years to achieve. With this inspiration Caseria's work has reflected a glimpse of God's creativity and ingenuity. As a missionary to the primitive tribes living in the Philippine mountains, Romeo began to capture on canvas the beauty of the rare orchids and also wild flowers growing in the rain forest.
Since moving to Jacksonville, Florida, where he spent time teaching, he won some awards. Romeo's talents are extremely versatile in both realistic and modern styles. His works are primarily pastels, oils, and acrylics, but he loves to experiment in many different types of media.
"When something catches my attention, I try to figure out and work to capture that inspiration. And when you truly care about what you do, the result is more genuine. As I've learned more about art and became more skilled, it truly expressed the joy that I felt and the beauty of creation."
